Minor Hotels’ key fitout requirements included ergonomic workstations, flexible boardrooms and plenty of breakaway spaces for entertaining or internal meetings—all wrapped in a refined interior design concept.

To create a fitout that ticked all of these boxes, we started with the main entry, which was to be open rather than a traditional reception area. We installed multiple private booths and seating with added privacy to transform the space into something practical and flexible, while looking great to visitors.

For added privacy, we also used decorative mesh screens with greenery to separate the open office from the front of house. This was also used as a design accent to visually connect all areas, including black ceiling panels in the kitchen area.

To address their boardroom requirements, we installed acoustic operable walls in a sleek black so the team can easily expand the space for larger gatherings.
