The Brief
A Sculptural and Sophisticated Entry
The vision for 347 Ann Street was to reimagine the existing building entrance and lobby, creating a welcoming, contemporary space that reflects the quality and character of the building.
The transformation focused on elevating the arrival experience through new entry flooring, a bespoke external entrance detail featuring the building's iconic 347, a redesigned staircase and beautifully curved corridors.
A refined material palette of natural stone, warm timber tones, champagne bronze detailing and soft architectural lighting was selected to establish a cohesive and luxurious aesthetic throughout the space.
Design Direction
Warm Tones and Refined Textures
A sophisticated palette of warm natural stone, soft ivory, champagne bronze and charcoal creates a luxurious arrival experience. The design combines sculptural architectural details with refined finishes, bringing warmth, elegance and a strong sense of identity to the building.
A Statement Entrance
The transformation begins before stepping inside, with a striking new entry floor featuring the building's address, 347, elegantly integrated into a bespoke natural stone mosaic.
The curved floor detail creates a distinctive architectural feature, introducing the design language that continues throughout the lobby. Contrasting stone finishes and precise detailing establish a memorable first impression, setting the tone for the sophisticated interior beyond.
An Elevated Staircase
The redesigned staircase becomes a central architectural statement, combining warm timber-look treads, refined bronze detailing and transparent glass balustrades.
Slim bronze handrails and delicate stair nosing introduce a luxurious metallic accent, while the open glass design allows natural light to flow throughout the space.
A sculptural arrangement of pendant lighting draws the eye upward, celebrating the double-height volume and reinforcing the sense of grandeur.

These carefully considered transitions bring texture, visual interest and a sense of craftsmanship to the space, transforming functional circulation areas into elegant architectural features.
Architectural Lighting & Curved Hallways
The adjoining corridors continue the lobby's sophisticated design language through softly curved archways and integrated feature lighting.
Warm LED illumination follows the architectural forms, creating subtle highlights that accentuate the curves and bring depth to the otherwise minimal interior.
Paired with soft neutral walls, natural stone flooring and bespoke mosaic details, the lighting creates an inviting atmosphere while enhancing the building's sense of identity.
