The Brief
A Refined and Welcoming Workplace
The vision for the end-of-trip facilities at 347 Ann Street was to create a contemporary, practical and inviting space that supports the needs of a modern workplace.
The design focuses on delivering functional amenities without compromising on aesthetics, incorporating secure personal storage, shower and changing facilities, and beautifully detailed bathroom spaces.
A warm, natural material palette was selected to create a cohesive environment, balancing durability and ease of maintenance with a sophisticated, welcoming atmosphere.
Design Direction
Welcoming and Sophisticated Design
The design embraces a refined combination of warm timber finishes, soft neutral stone-look tiles and contrasting black accents to create a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Custom timber-look joinery flows throughout the space, from the integrated locker systems to the bathroom vanities and cubicle partitions, establishing a consistent design language.
Bathroom & Vanity Areas
The bathroom spaces feature striking black fluted vessel basins, brushed metal tapware and softly curved mirrors, introducing a balance of texture and architectural detail.
Natural timber-look benchtops bring warmth to the space, while textured feature tiles add subtle visual interest. The combination of organic finishes and clean, contemporary lines creates an elevated bathroom experience.
Secure Storage & Lockers
Purpose-designed timber-look lockers provide convenient and secure personal storage, complete with integrated digital keypad locks and brushed metal hardware.Greenery positioned above the joinery introduces a natural element, softening the clean architectural lines and bringing a sense of freshness to the space.
Shower & Changing Facilities
The shower and changing areas have been carefully considered to provide privacy, comfort and convenience. Fluted glass screening introduces texture while maintaining privacy, complemented by timber slatted seating, neutral stone-look tiles and contemporary fixtures. The result is a practical yet sophisticated environment that encourages active commuting and supports employee wellbeing.
